Our story

Same day. Same me.
Two different answers.

I’m Greg. I’ve had type 1 for most of my adult life.

The day

Tennis at 3. Fries at 7.

One sent my numbers one way. The other sent them the other. Same food I always eat, same ratio I always use.

Drawn from memory · not to scale
What was missing

I counted the carbs right every time. Carbs weren’t the question. How sensitive I was that day was — and nothing I owned would tell me.

So I built one.

One number, comparing the carbs I ate to the insulin I took, against my own ratio. Then I started saving the days that went well.

I still get surprised.

That part hasn’t changed. What changed is what I look at when it happens — my own numbers, from my own days, instead of a guess.

Why it matters

So what does that actually change?

You stop starting from zero
The pizza night that went well is saved with the ratio that made it go well. Tonight starts from that, not from a fresh guess.
Fewer things to hold in your head
What is still working from the last dose is on the screen, not in your memory, at the moment you are deciding.
More room to say yes
A last-minute match, a meal out, a late dessert. Knowing how your ratio behaved on days like this one makes spontaneous plans less of a gamble.

Mirri surfaces patterns from your own data. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace advice from your care team.

What we hold ourselves to

We live this
Most of the team lives with diabetes. Everything we ship survives our own nights and weekends first.
Numbers over noise
No cheerleading. No guilt. No confetti. A big honest number and a reason — or nothing at all.
Confidence, not control
Diabetes doesn’t do perfect. We promise a steadier hand on the wheel, never a lecture.

Living with diabetes? So are we.

Your day will look nothing like mine. That’s the point — the numbers are yours.
